I found Structure Synth a few days and was having fun poking around until I found Sunflow, and started poking through that to make this. Math is fun.

Hey, was the rendering entirely in sunflow or did you apply some gradient map to bring out the blue-green color?

Good question, I did apply a gradient in Photoshop. I'm still trying to learn how to manipulate the light in Sunflow, but the wiki is extremely difficult to follow, and there's a ton of information that isn't covered.

Yeah, the wiki is better than nothing. I'm struggling through it myself, but I think I'm finally getting it. Still, the gradient approach worked beautifully here and was appropriately subtle. I'll have to try applying that to some of my own.
