Mais uma variação da Spread lado 1

This is a variation of the
first tessellation I "created". Here is what I did:
I took Eric Gjerde's
Spread Hexagon and turned some of the corners of the hexagons into clusters of twisted triangles.
A few days ago, Lorenzo Marchi
told us about a technique
Melisande uses to do 3D stars; so I changed the clusters into 3D stars.
Thanks everybody!
Obs.: that was the harder description I had to do so far - alot of links...- I hope to do tons of those in the future :-)

Yes, it's a kind of tissue paper, only is a
bit thicker. Thanks

Yes, gorgeous colors !
I like how you mixed the stars with your
hexagon flower, nice idea.
Once you've learned you to do these puff
stars, they are highly addictive, aren't they
?

Thanks. It was the first design that came to
my mind when Lorenzo pointed it out.
What I like best about this technique is
that I don't have to figure out a way to lock
the stars in place after I puff them.

Wow! this is very interesting, and I love the
paper! I'm glad to see that my experience
have contributed creating this!! I hope
Melisande doesn't mind that we all steal her
technique !! :P
By the way I thinnk this is a very large
piece of paper, isnt' it?

I want people to understand how important it
is to share the knowlegde we have.
If we were stuck with that stupid concept
of holding on to what we know , that
"I'm better than you because I know
something you don't" attitude, how many
great designs and designers would never be
discovered?

I want to explain clearly and for ever :
Puffs stars are absolutely not a technique
I claim to be proprietary of.
I reverse-engineered them from Fredrik
Owesen's photos, and Fredrik had discovered
them by himself.
But later I found the german tessellator
Ralf Konrad folded this same design 2 years
ago.
Now everyone is allowed to have fun folding
these stars !
