iPhone app idea: camera ruler

Would be nice to display a virtual ruler over the camera picture to roughly mesure distances. Certainly doable as we know the characteristics of the iphone lense.

It could use the accelerometers to adjust the perspective (tilt, etc).

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Excellent, then I'll glue an Iphone on each side of my car and with a third one over bluetooth could get help to easily park downtown :)

The problem with this is your camera doesn't have knowledge of perspective, so it wouldn't know if you're twice as high off the ground and the room was twice as large, etc.
