Selling a very odd magazine by maurice flower

Selling a very odd magazine

And it's a real classic; "Blandaren".

"Blandaren ("The Mixer") is a humor magazine, founded in 1863 by students at the Technological Institute, now the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. Promoter is said to have been a student Helge Palmcrantz (according to his contemporary relatives) [citation needed].

The mixer was published originally in two issues per year; Vårblandaren and gas mixture. The latter was first out at St. Martin's Day, later at Lucia, but now in early December. Today is only the gas mixture into its own volume and Vårblandaren is either the guest annex in various other newspapers or confluence with Gåsblanadren.

The mixer has over the years been associated with KTH and THS in different ways. Today, an independent association."

Original text:

The Krambude Shoppe
Visiting Tallinn

Yet another lovely lady in the charming medieval style shop in Tallinn, Estonia.

The salesgirl and I had a long talk. She had no other customer than I, so she presented a row of products and told interesting stories about how they where used in the Middle Ages and saints that was supposed to protect the trade and so forth. Interesting.

I had a short recording time for this. My camera only alouds for
a thirty seconds recording when set in high resolution mode.

Unexpected winter evening bubbles! by maurice flower

Unexpected winter evening bubbles!

A "living" Advent calendar from houses and gardens of the Old Town of Stockholm. The whole arrangement is so charming and cleverly made. Everyday from 1st of December until 24th of December there is a "door" in this calender opened. And it's always a surprise what's behind the "doors"; just as in an ordenary Christmas Advent calender. The program is at 6 pm and lasts for a quarter of an hour, except for Christmas Eve, when the opening of the calender is at 11.30 am.

The entertainment is very varied, and there are both amateurs and professional artists performing. All who are taking part in this is doing it idealistic. Sometimes it can be very famous artist. Many of the persons who are performing live in The Old Town or has in some way a connection to this part of Stockholm. At many times they use ordenary people's appartments for the openings, as for this evening. A fun idea well executed.

Here is a lady working with the arrangement together with one of the performers for the evening; Mike The Poet. Mike is here happily demonstrating his soapbubble machine he had found in a toy store. It was really effective. It's snowing at the same time. Lots of fun :-)
