We bought the remote modem, which cost like $70 but is SOOO worth it. My husband uses his laptop on the couch (in front of the TV, of course). My daughter uses another one on the dining room table, and I'm in my den or even on the bed. With no wires except from the wall to the remote modem. PLUS, you can print remotely, too. No wire to the printer! Hey, maybe Verizon's van ad is working; here I am doing their marketing for them.
