oh. that's a gear bag on her back. -- you know, to stow some more lenses, flashes, etc...
two bodies are always better than one because you don't have to change lenses when there's a moment happening in front of you. That way, you can be prepared for something close to you (wide angle) and something far away (telephoto). Lens variation is just a smart way to cover any assignment.
