Married Life

The engagement shoot took place in Carcosa Seri Negara, a gorgeous dream location for any photographer. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcosa_Seri_Negara)

Fleeting Thoughts by Mattong

Fleeting Thoughts

2009 is almost at an end, and if there's one take-away I've had for the year, it's to always be optimistic.

Can't wait for 2010.

Note: Image is an unaltered shot from the Holga. Am personally pleasantly surprised with the flare *grins*

The Kuala Lumpur Towers (Holga-ed) by Mattong

The Kuala Lumpur Towers (Holga-ed)

Kuala Lumpur is a picturesque city, if you know where to look. With its tall buildings and ambitious mega projects, there's always something to shoot.

I tried framing with the Holga in this one. If there's one thing you learn, it's that most of the time, the Holga does whatever the hell it wants.

*no photoshop done, image was cross processed. I'm also taking a leaf from Coloumbic and will proceed to delete all image-only comments.

KL Clubbing Scene, Holga-ed by Mattong

KL Clubbing Scene, Holga-ed

The clubbing scene is alive and well here in Kuala Lumpur, with each spot serving a different crowd, but these days they're still mostly dominated by Zouk. This obviously wasn't it.

I had my old nikon dslr with me and decided I'd meter with it. Having found out how long it'd take to make a decent exposure, I set the holga on bulb and counted down...manually.
