Day 5: Worn Out

Day 5: Worn Out

Ignoring the theme completely (sorry!) I remembered after crashing out of the Christmas festivities early (I get very tired in the evening at the moment due to having sciatica, which is not helping me sleep well) that I should probably do a picture. So here I am, in bed in the bedroom that used to be mine, with Kindle.

I hope everybody had a good Christmas.

Day 3: Morning Cat

Day 3: Morning Cat

I missed a photo on day 2. Day 3 was the day I went to my parents' house for Christmas, so this meant taking Pumba to the cattery, and thus it was his last chance to appear in this run of 7 Days! I miss the little man already.

Here we are in the dark, enjoying a moment together before the fight to get him into his carrier began.

Day 1: Maybe if I throw a rock...

Day 1: Maybe if I throw a rock...

I hate shopping centres at Christmas. Especially when I'm as tired as I was today. My second day off work in my Christmas holiday, and I had a recorder lesson, an aikido class and then attempted to finish the Christmas shopping.

Not happening. Going to have to go again first thing tomorrow.

In the mean time, I had to remember that I needed to take a photo, so I found a conveniently-located mirror and here we are. I know it doesn't look very crowded here, but that's just a freak gap in the crowd.

No Russ I wasn't seriously considering throwing things at the milling crowds of shoppers below.

Not very seriously anyway.

Day 7: Nom

Day 7: Nom

Day 7 already? Wow. I'll try to catch up with some more commenting over the weekend. Another good run, it was great to see everyone again, and next time it'll be Christmas! See you all then!

Day 6: Underneath

Day 6: Underneath

There used to be a washing machine here.
It was a good washing machine.
I washed my clothes in the washing machine.
I was happy to have clean clothes.
One day I put clothes in to wash
And the washing machine said no
I will short to earth instead.
You will have no power to your sockets
And I will keep your clothes inside me.
So the men came and took it away
And now I am left with an empty space
And a pile of laundry.
