It was great. We paddled under the piers - the water was so clear you could see 10 feet down. We saw fish, starfish, and urchin. Then there was the occasional sea lion that sparked some interest in our kayaks. Rumor has it, a juvenile seal actually boarded someone's kayak earlier that day. And we were about an hour late for a whale that was reportedly heading south through the bay shallows.
