Kiruna Northern Lights
This was taken right outside of Kiruna, Sweden during a snowmobile tour of Swedish Lapland. We were super fortunate to have been able to see these even though it was just for 10-15 min. Seeing the northern lights was high on my list of things I want to see before I die, so I'm incredibly thankful. The temperature was consistently around -20 Fahrenheit up here, and one of our tour guides said it got to around -40 Fahrenheit. It was painfully cold even with all the warm clothes they provide! The foreground on this image is lighter due to the moonlight from the 25 sec exposure

You are lucky indeed. Firstly because I've met people that have hung out in Sweden or Finland for a whole month trying to see the Northern Lights and weren't able to manage it. And second because your camera worked in such cold temperatures.
