Pritzker Pavilion Panorama

Pritzker Pavilion Panorama

I was really happy with how this panorama came out. The only part that I was a little tepid about was the alliteration in my title. The pavilion is the work of Frank Gehry and is situated in Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. I really liked the "lattice work" that was suspended above the lawn, and the skyline can't be beat! If you look to the far left, you can just see the top portion of the Sears Tower.

Guggenheim Spiral

Guggenheim Spiral

This was an extremely difficult photo to take because the museum security guards were very determined to destroy any and all attempts to photograph the museum. I managed to take this one only because I was pretending to rest my camera on the ledge while pretending to talk to my girlfriend.

Wrigley Field Panorama

Wrigley Field Panorama

I couldn't be happier with the way the field looks in this, though I'm contemplating a crop on the right side. Always a treat seeing the Cubbies on their home turf, though they did end up losing. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me on this one!

Pyramide du Louvre at Night

Pyramide du Louvre at Night

I took this photo around midnight or so on one of my first nights back in Paris. I loved how the moon was just perched above the roof of the palace. I was using what must have been the most boot-leg tripod ($19.99). It was anything but steady. Let me know what you think, I can't wait to go back!

Chicago Lakefront Panorama

Chicago Lakefront Panorama

I took this photo from just outside the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. In it you can see nearly all of the city's picture-perfect skyline. The Sears Tower (will never call it whatever it is now) rightfully dominates the view at center. Michigan Avenue's graceful historic buildings provide an interesting foreground for the concrete and glass jungle that looms just behind. Chicago is such a great city, where else could you find a city with miles of turquoise blue lakefront and the best comfort food in the nation? I may have moved away from the Windy City a long time ago, but I will always consider myself a mid-westerner at heart.
