Cooking with iPad

Newer Older

My dad and his wife are coming over for dinner tonight (we're having paella), and Lauren is making some bread for the starter. Well, she's making the entire meal, but you know what I mean.

I got out of the shower to notice my iPad stand had disappeared; it had been reassigned as a recipe stand. She's been wanting to get an iPad into her kitchen workflow ever since we got the first one (she's a software engineer by day, and food blogger by evenings/weekends: www.coffeemuffins.com/ )

Here's a bread recipe for you...

    Half packet of flour
    Two packets of yeast
    Good pinch of salt
    Good pinch of sugar
    Small pinch of baking soda

    ...then...

    Splash of milk
    Cup full of water

    ...then...

    knead until soft and gooey
roll into ball and flour the surface
    seal in clingfilm
leave for 45 mins in a slightly heated area )or warm oven switched off

    ... then ...

knock all the air out, and leave for another 15-20 mins

    ... bake for 25 mins at 250ºC

    That's it!
