Death of a Creative Director (or 5 Feet of Rope)

Death of a Creative Director (or 5 Feet of Rope)

View On Large Black

I'm back.

I know I've been away from Flickr for quite some time.
1. I was perhaps a little addicted to it.
2. It's surprisingly easy to get addicted to NOT being addicted to it.
3. I want a new camera.

This shot is another concept taken on the weekend that I took my Creative Department to my farm.

Admittedly, it wasn't my idea. I didn't even have my camera with me. One of my Art Directors had an idea to get a photo of me hanging so we shot me, and later I found the perfect tree to dangle my corpse from.

Yes, it's disturbing. But let's face it, we all have our enemies.

No, I'm not entering a dark phase. Although the next few shots will be quite disturbed.

I took my creative department out to my farm for a weekend getaway of fun. And alcohol. Quite a bit of it. Especially around the campfire with spooky stories to try and scare the shit out of the girls.

I decided to get a bit creative with everyone and, since we'd all been telling tales of horror, it seemed fitting to give the shots a disturbed bent.

Here, one of my Art Directors is dragging me from the back of 'The Beast' among the bodies of two of my Copywriters and one of my Developers.

R.I.P.

R.I.P.

My beautiful boy Jake passed away on Saturday night. As always with Jake, the mind was willing but the body unable.

He was 16. My best friend and the most loyal and sweet dog. He followed me everywhere and through everything without asking for anything in return except a meal and a good tummy rub.

Everyone who every met him instantly fell in love and knew there was something unique going on behind his eyes and his uncannily human smile. He was a person in a dog-suit.

His passing has left a hole that cannot be filled.
