Mystery Girl, Reprise

A year ago, I found this comment on a photo I'd taken in Japan, which has ended up being a strange kind of anniversary for a particularly strange and unlikely "meeting," but one that is enormously special to me nonetheless.

To mark that happy occasion, today I took another picture, this time in Vancouver. You can see Cherry's version here (along with a nice portrait of the two of us).

I checked yours out because you always have constructive, considerate and above all - nice things to say in Utata threads. And I was rewarded with a love story. Still together, just a few days over two years now.

Not sure how many more details there are, really. I was walking back from the Meiji Temple (you go through the square at Harajuku) and thought "Now that's a good picture". The Wired article was pretty much spot on, apart from the fact I'm a Canadian living in Scotland, and not Scottish as reported, but that's a pretty forgiveable mistake, I think.
