06.2007 dialogues between 2 bicycles and a flowerish window

Bruges is medieval city just an hour away (by train) from Brussels. Everybody rides a bicycle there. That's one of things that really catches me, well there is also architecture, chocolate, lace and mules!! :) Ah! and the 300 different brands of beer :)

Bruges is lovely, i was very happy to visit long time ago. I was mad about "des mules et des frites", just couldn't stop, :D That was at the sea shore at Zeebruges, the beach of Bruge. Bruges is a wonderful place to take photos, very calm, quiet and lots of reflections at the channels, ;-)

I have traveled to Bruges several times ... a very photogenic place. The lace is wonderful. Also the main square has some great photo opportunities such as from the top of the clock tower. This photo takes me back there. Nice!

I love this shot. As usual, beautiful job! I've been to Brugge, and enjoyed it. But to me, from this side of a couple of big puddles, this photo is more generally European than just of Brugge. I love the colors, bikes, flowers, basket, and obvious care and respect for old and simple things. If you get [got?] any shots of the windmills and canal I'd love to see them. I got over there at dusk and failed the opportunity to catch them well. Had to leave early the next day. Tried! Lovely memory. Maybe potential as a flickr gathering spot!

Wow, that's an awesome shot. The colors are fantastic, as well as the lighting from the time of day. I love the texture of the brick wall and the rustic feel of the blue part that just pops out. The darker blue window frame really adds some nice contrast.
