Few things say "Nantucket wedding" like a bed on the beach, madras pants, cigars, and Hermes ties.

Flew all the way to Chicago just to eat at Alinea for our anniversary dinner... Some might call it crazy, but I'd say it was worth every penny. The problem now is I will never be able to top this anniversary dinner--ever. Proof you can win and lose at the same time.

A little teaser photo from that nearly-five-hours-of-pure-awesomeness: the famed dessert (half) prepared by Chef Achatz himself. There were a few points of complete silence at the table: the truffle explosion, the hot potato, and, of course, this--seven minutes of watching art being created right in front of us.
