My friends were in town last week and were gonna trek up to RR for the day. I was feeling sick so i couldn't go but damn i would have loved to have grabbed a growler of Blind Pig.

Helped chop about 300lbs of baby fennel for a friend's brewery. All of this ended up in a Biere de Mars last spring. Really not my favorite style but its still a very good beer. I can't wait to see what comes out of his barrels though, some of it should be ready soon.

My dad used to have this massive 3" thick book all about this museum. When i was a kid I must have read through it a thousand times. Finally had the chance to go this past winter when I visited my girlfriend's parents in NoVA.

One of my favorite bars in the entire world despite their anemic beer selection (Guiness, a house pils made by gordon biersch (which is probably quite nice), and maybe a domestic light lager). I could drink Irish coffee all day here. They serve breakfast all day too and the eggs benny is killer.

21st Amendment for Belgian Beer Month. Drank enough to earn some sweet glassware from them & Magnolia
