Abazia di Staffarda: the Cloister
An important medieval building, founded between 1135 and 1138 by the
Cistercian monks. It continued to be developed throughout the 13th-century.
The church itself was built between 1150 and 1210.
The facade is Romanesque and is preceded by a narthex from 1250.
The interior is designed with three simple and austere naves.
Staffarda is 60 km southward from Turin and 10 km far from Saluzzo.
