A GK Chesterton quote I came across in John Barrow's "Impossibility" (The Science of Limits and the Limits of Science.)

Update: ironically, I had only seen the snippet quoted in the book I mention above. This image was linked on a blog which revealed the full quote was not actually about scientists, but critics, which puts rather a different spin on it!
