Needlepoint 2616When I started these needlepoints, I had no idea there would be so many, and I had no specific thought in mind... for me they are a source of therapy, a quieting of the mind. A release... I am happy to see all the positive responses, though, it makes my heart sing. There's something very special about revealing some secret, private parts of oneself...

Needlepoint 2617More from the series of needlepoints I'd created over the years... they've never been shown publicly (or anywhere else for that matter) before... I just dug them up and photographed them... they take on a very beautiful body of work... even though there was no specific vision in mind... just having fun with them really... I am quite proud of them.

Needlepoint 2620Still more in the Needlepoint series... of course, I never do anything half-way, and am famous for my obsessive behaviour... and my needlepoints are very obsessive indeed... hours and hours of stitching... aimlessly... and maybe that's why there's an attraction, a compulsive need to do more more more... This is the first time they are being shown in public, actually the first time they have been seen by anyone other than Sol... There's something quite precious about this moment of openness...
