Phillies Parade: You and 1,999,999 of your closest friends.

I'm not saying the parade route was packed, but this was a parking lot that holds about a dozen and a half cars usually.

Parade day was complete madness in Philly - after telling people to take public transit to prevent gridlock in the city, the city leaders learned a hard lesson - many people already have been taking public transit for months. The result - the extra influx resulted in delays of more than 2 hours trying to get into the city by rail.

Heck, it took me almost 30 minutes to walk the 8 blocks back to the office (after finding that I would have a 2+ hour wait to get a train home, if I tried right then).

Still, it was ALL worth it.
