I mostly missed fall migration this year - simply too much work to get out there enough for my liking. But at least I had the pleasure of seeing these beautiful vireos a couple of times - including this curious fella.

I know the feeling. It seems like this year I've spent most of my time travelling between here and the clinic. Didn't get nearly the Oyster Bay time I need, that's for sure. Should be things happening there in February. Like rain, for instance. Like the title here, too.
