Wild Turkey

This isn't the first time I've seen a wild turkey, but this is the first time I've seen one at Palmyra Cove and the first time I have ever seen one when I had a camera ready. Unfortunately, I was hiding from the rain at this point so this was as clear a shot as I could get.

Nice shot. There are getting to be too many turkeys in south Jersey. I've had several near misses while driving and they are eating up peoples gardens. There were a lot more hunters when they reintroduced them to New Jersey but less people are getting into hunting each year. This could be a big problem in the future with the turkeys and deer.
