what 180 rule, I thought that was only there for a short while until the pool was cleaned out.

And even if he did break the rules surely thats not a valid critique of the picture

@mark the first few times i posted to this group i was rapped over the knuckles and racked up a mountain of deleteme's for breaking a rule that had actually changed between the time i read the rules, and the time i posted - some 10 mts later. i'm not an admin but there are rules posted to the front page of the group and they are in constant flux. there are times when the admins get flooded and the group chokes up with images. i fully support the 180 rule - or as an alternative and more hardcore rule i think you should only allowed to vote, but not post if you already have any picture in the group. you can only post if you have no picture in the pool at all. savemes get moved out to a private group that you earn your way into. who knows what the rules are in there? it's like a flickr secret society, that we all have a chance to join. iluuminati lite... and i love it.

If you want to go for such simplicity, the simple objects, for example here the table and plate, should be flawless and suggest the Platonic ideal.

The flaws and irregularities in the table and plate ruin the attempt at abstractness for me. I admit, this is just my taste. But that's what it is.

Zoe has it right - it's IKEA stock. It actually got requested for inclusion in a german girls magazine, which was quite flattering for about 5 minutes until I worked out they were just using Flickr for free images.
