Influenced by the current exhibit at the De Young here's a homage to Gilbert and George that I knocked up using this picture as my inspiration: www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/graphics/slideshows/gilbert07/gi... and the toys I have around my home office.
As inspiration I was also thinking about those records like "Flatboy Slim V Macy Gray" or the comic books "Batman V the Hulk" etc. Unlikely combinations resulting in a new story or mix; I thought why not do the same in photography?

Thanks guys -
Sazzy - The exhibit is at the De Young for 10 more days - www.famsf.org/deyoung/exhibitions/exhibition.asp?exhibiti... Gilbert and George are popular culture as well as art icons in the UK - they're not really photographers (although they use photography) so much as performance artists (their whole life is a performance piece) and their installations reflect that. BTW - Patti does not like them much but Brits have a soft spot for them.
Wangbar - fabulous idea - I'm currently working out how to stick rhinestones to a toy helmet :)
