The Shame

The Shame by the other Martin Taylor.
88/366
It takes three pictures stitched together to show the scope of the embarrassment that is our garage. I've spent most of the weekend trying to get through it but this 'before' picture still doesn't have an 'after' partner yet ... but hopefully a car will fit in it again soon.

I could show you one that is worse, but I am too embarrased. My neices BF is diligently cleaning it out so we may hope to fit a car in again too.LOL

admitting you have a problem is the first step.

oh wow, it reminds me of our basement. Who knew we could fill it after moving from an apartment only 5 months ago.

I could show you one that is worse also! We do have a vehicle in ours, but it hasn't run/moved in at least 3 years...

May I quote Joseph Conrad (and Marlon Brando)? "The horror, the horror."

I have to take a picture of my garage so you don't feel so bad. I can't even walk in there.

Dani, thanks for noticing the Patricia Ave I have the Hanley Ave my maiden name to go with it somewhere in that mess--some guy who liked me ages ago stole these off the LA streets and gave them to me and a friend.

I'm mortified that you shared YOUR garage of shame, Martin. I say YOUR because I had this cleared up for you a year ago as a surprise and just LOOK what you did to it all over again. YOU are a secret pack rat. muahaha!

I am a pack rat? Sure but lets just look at some of the larger items in this garage; on the right, a 'spare' fire pit, an air conditioner that runs on 220 (we don't have a 220 outlet), a Hello Kitty sandwich maker - elsewhere, hundreds of square feet of wrapping paper (I haven't bought any in years), someone's little use bike, ... I could go on. This is a partnership - the garage included - when you ask me to store something where do you think it goes?
