Rollercoaster

amazing shot .... specially that its has my country name

btw ... congrats for the explore

wish u all the best
thank god those wheels are built to take much more then that.
wing and light look wrong
This is a very poor landing shot in lot of case the other side take too much load and the wheels axils break and the plane crashes. just near the wheel there are fuel ta
tanks that fire up in lot of cases.

This is normally happen due of wind pressure which should be properly handle.
Something looks kind of wierd here.
well, u for certain know what timing is!!!, congrats for the pic, nice shot
wow!!!!
Where's this light reflection coming from? something is not right, alright.
Rollercoaster by hartlandmartin.
An Emirates Boeing 777 catches a gust that dips the starboard wing moments before touchdown forcing the landing gear hard into Birmingham's runway 15. Great to watch, not so much fun for the passengers and crew methinks.

Edit: Thankyou one and all for your comments, this one certainly made the magic donkey happy ; )

MoRomy... : ) Herbs71, all pax would be strapped in so everyone ok apart from messed up underwear! It's worth mentioning that the Airbus A321 before this had to abort and go around as the pilot just couldn't get it on the runway, so well done that Emirates pilot for the recovery.

This is a normal cross-wind landing, this requires a higher level of skill. the purpose of this technique is to maintain heading aligned with the runway. The Pilots landed this aircraft in this way so the plane does not skid off the runway... We do it all the time

There is a lot of public missunderstanding about aviation and it is often fuelled by outrageous media reports. I would not suggest that this hysteria should be added to by selling this or photos like it to journalists. They do not care who they hurt or missinform in order to get a story.

This is a completely standard technique for landing in a crosswind and if the left wing had not been lowered the Aircraft would have immediately started to drift perpedicular to the runway and upon touching down a sideways force would have been applied through the landing gear which of course its is desirable to avoid as they are a lot stronger in compression than shear. The Pilots will not have been caking themselves! For them this is as fluid a movement as changing gear in a car and they will have used this technique every time the wind has not been perfectly still. They do not need to go back to the simulator. This is a completely normal crosswind landing just emphasised because it is a slightly windy day.

I like this photo. The size of this Aircraft is really aparent in that you shot it at f/9 and 200mm and still you can see that the tail is slightly out of focus while the nose is sharp as a pin. It shows the majesty of this huge Aircraft and the timing is perfect. You have a great panning technique and a steady hand.
