Opuntia monocantha monstrose

Opuntia monocantha monstrose

Also called Opuntia vulagaris. I know of three forms of monocantha monstrose. Green form, smaller variegated form called maverick, and the larger variegated form called Joseph's coat. Josephs coat reverts to normal but keeps a think pad. If you have a variegated form that is thin it is probably not a revert but a normal variegate.

Baby Leopard Gecko

Baby Leopard Gecko

He is only a couple inches long. I used a Nikon 50mm 1.8 with a +4 macro filter on the end of the lense. On camera flash on a black floor tile. Image reduced because of thieving.
Had some store credit at Pet Supermarket and I don't use much of their supplies so I took this guy home. He is patternless.

Eating Opuntia stricta

Eating Opuntia stricta

I skinned an Opuntia stricta also known as eastern coastal prickley. Very common here and good to eat for everyone. Very good for your lizard or turtles insides. As well as your own.
