Phase II

Nearly 400 guests joined the Premier of Ontario, Mayor of Toronto and
other dignitaries on June 26, 2007 to celebrate the announcement of
MaRS' spectacular Phase II development with California-based
Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc.

The 900,000 sq. ft. project is expected to
open in 2009 and is the largest science development in Canada.
