Citizenship Ceremony @ MaRS 2011
On Friday February 18, 2011, MaRS had the privilege of welcoming 60 new Canadians from 30 countries at a Citizenship Court held in the MaRS Auditorium. The special extended ceremony, was a concept created by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship. This institute was co-founded by the Rt. Hon. Adrienne Clarkson and John Ralston Saul. The Institutes's objectives are to assist New Canadians to bridge the gap from immigrant to fully engaged citizen.
