You’re dirty, sweet and you’re my girl

Pterosaurs were a bizarre group of flying reptiles that flew over the heads of dinosaurs (well, the dinosaurs that didn't fly themselves). They're also the animals I'm studied for my PhD and, as such, I tend to churn out images of pterosaur-related goodness quite often. Mostly these are diagrams and simple drawings for reports and presentations but, ocassionally, I manage to draw pterosaurs in a slightly more 'informal' sense. These are also the images that have seen my first attempts at colouring using a digital palette. Using 'real' materials like paints I can't colour for beans but, with the aid of an 'undo' button and completely erasable mistakes I'm taking my first steps towards a technicolour Mesozoic.
