Beyerskloof

The Beyerskloof vineyard, as well as providing us with some great wine and great food, also has some pretty stunning views of the winelands.

Their specialty was a very palatable Pinotage. Pinotage is a red wine grape and is particularly associated with South Africa. It is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, which is known in South Africa as Hermitage, hence the portmanteau name Pinotage.
