Second picture from Canterbury Cathedral: the 12th century Quire.

Viewed large the girl on the right gives an idea of size.

Mark, great shot as always. I love the colors in this shot and the architecture is really beautiful. The perspective of the wide lens in this setting is just wonderful.

how did you like the garden of England jibbo? it's nice to see canterbury through fresh eyes, i used to cut through the cathedral grounds as a shortcut to go swimming as a kid and the odd school trip only.
to have such awe-inspiring architecture on my doorstep and to not bother making the effort is criminal. must try harder.

as for you, superb work again, your procesing skills are top notch and yet again result in another fantastic shot.

this must be viewed large - I honestly think it is one of your best yet. I am not going to embarrass you by heaping too many superlatives on it or by telling you what I see in it - ok I will stop there

So excellent, especially seeing you were at 1600 ISO. The picture is stunning. You must not drink coffee, your hands are so steady. I'm dazzled by your handheld shots. I suppose they don't allow tripods in the cathedral.
We simply have no architecture in the US to compare with this. I'd love to visit the UK. It's on my wish list.
Thanks for sharing this marvelous photo!
