Marina Bay from the Singapore Flyer

Marina Bay from the Singapore Flyer

Taken from Singapore Flyer. The Flyer provided a very good vantage point of the Marina Bay but the capsule of the Singapore Flyer is a challenging place for night photography. One has to battle with strong decorative lights outside the capsule and indoor lights as well. To make things worse, the glass of the capsule was very dirty. I had a hard time "cleaning" up the unwanted reflections and dirty stains.

Reworked version of the original by stitching another image to include the Esplanade.

Deliberately saved in 16:9 format to capture as much essence as possible.

Optimism spawns Opportunities

Optimism spawns Opportunities

I was inspired by nice picture poster created by cscvictor:
www.flickr.com/photos/cscvictor/6718874261/
that I decided to give it a try with my GIMP. Unfortunately, even though I manage to download quite a few fanciful chinese fonts, none of them get rendered properly in GIMP.

I finish it with a Chinese Seal of my name created using an online seal generator:

Another view of the Reflections

Another view of the Reflections

Another view of The Reflections at Keppel Bay, a condominium that consist of 6 glass towers. This shot is taken from Bukit Chermin Boardwalk. From here, all the newspaper that were plastered all over the glass windows can be clearly seen.
