Shoetime

Something completely different for me. Endless grey skies and miserableness still abounds so no new landscapes. Playing with the little DA40 Limited lens. Incredibly thin pancake lens but a lovely wee thing.

Something I've been after doing for a while. Farriers visit to my wifes horse today for his new shoes. I just wanted to capture some of the atmosphere/feel of the work.

Foursome

I've uploaded a few of this group before but hadn't looked at these ones from January last year until this morning. It was quite a drab day but that's probably its attraction now. Second one in the comments is of an old house at Balnakiel. Loads of promise but it was pouring down so just a quickie. Third is just a roadside snap from the other day. Miserable and foggy. Might have been alright but for the rain.
