I know it has been a while since my last photos, but I've been waiting for my Nikkor 14-24 mm. It finally arrived four days ago, and hopefully you'll see me posting photos more regularly from now on.
This is from my first walk with my new baby and wow am I satisfied. I wanted to capture the chaotic intersections of Dublin. After living here for seven months I still find them a complete nightmare. The traffic lights are not synchronized, and if you're lucky enough to meet a green light you can bet that an ambulance or a police car will come flying through, leaving you in another endless wait hoping to soon be able to cross the road.
This image is a compositon of two scenes from an intersection in Dolphins Barn in Dublin. Two persons tripping over the road; ignoring the red light. And I really mean tripping - quick short and uncertain steps, kind of amusing to watch in fact. The bus is from a later exposure and is added to the original scene because I wanted a more dramatic final image.
