I've never gotten the lighting to come out this well. Did you use all ambient light, or flash somehow? If you did supplement the light, you did it in a way that looks totally natural. Great shot.

Scarecrow007, I agree with you! In this case I tried did so, spider isn't entirely in center, but maybe it needed more out of the center...

dknisely, there was only ambient light, I almost never use flash bulb...

Beautiful web! I think the spiders around here must be mutants, genetically challanged from the air pollution or something. They never create such perfect webs, there is always a chunk missing, or attached at the wrong spot, or something. We'll have to send them over your way to learn how to do it correctly! Now that I see what we're missing out on....

Gwynedd, Latvian spiders are the best! :o) I have quite many such spiderweb's photos, in the fogy mornings these are round about our lake (and not only there). Most important- take a photo against the sun...
