Eventually the ice has melted around the beaches here, making it possible to do close-ups of beach objects surrounded by water again :-)

Ah new work! Great minimalistic compo. The tones on this thing (don't know what it is) contrast so nicely with the tones in the water. And I also like that blurry horizon a lot!

Rob - thanks, yes, it's not that easy to find interesting steps into the water, and even more difficult to actually capture them with the camera... This one was tough. Really tough :-)
