We took Nemo to the outdoor ice skating rink last weekend. One of the ice attendants was very nice and took some time to help Nemo navigate around the ice.

The family dog looks incredibly pathetic with the antlers on. And now that I've relieved her of the bells and headgear, she is snoring on her bed.

Hm... sure wish I knew a way to deal with the reflective glare in animal eyes.

7-11 has special cups for each Presidential candidate. Supposedly, they'll scan the barcodes on each cup purchased and keep track of which candidate is most popular.

There are two issues with this -- first, my local 7-11 isn't scanning the cups. They're just keying in the coffee price. Second, when one candidate's cups run out, it's possible that people will just grab the next available cup. Of course, 7-11 is providing 20 oz cups in their regular design so... I guess we'll see.

I was a very tight budget for this trip, so I waited until the last possible moment to buy a ticket to see the Phantom show. Definitely worth every penny... I could write a whole blog post on this experience. Gorgeous costumes, beautiful sets, revised storyline, a cast that broke the fourth wall at times to enter the theatre, stunning chandelier crash, and an exceptional Phantom. I'd go back to Vegas just to see it all again.

In a couple of weeks, we'll celebrate our first anniversary of owning a dog again. Allie is very cooperative and patient. She's a great dog for an autistic child.

The worst thing about Allie is her separation anxiety. Although she's gotten a lot better about my morning departure, she freaks out when we all leave the house.
