Afternoon Light, Loch Leven
After a morning photographing on Rannoch Moor, Kinlochleven was the destination. A quick trip to Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall was followed by a recce along the northern shore of Loch Leven. This beach provided an attractive view towards the Pap of Glencoe and Bidean nam Bian, and the calm water was a big bonus.
The tide was low, and incoming, and there was a mass of brown seaweed along the shore. I tried various compositions with varying amounts of seaweed. In the end, I felt this was the most successful. I hope you agree!
