Columbus Monument – Monumento a Colón, Barcelona (Spain) HDR
The Columbus Monument (Monument a Colom in Catalan, also known as the
Monumento a Colón and Mirador de Colón in Spanish) is a 60 m (197 ft)
tall monument for Christopher Columbus at the lower end of La Rambla,
Barcelona, Spain.
The base of the monument is a 20 m (66 ft) wide circle, with four
staircases. Each staircase is flanked by two lions (Wikipedia).

El Monumento a Colón es una de las más famosas estatuas de la ciudad de Barcelona (España). Construida en homenaje al descubridor Cristóbal Colón, está erigida en la plaza del Portal de la Pau (en castellano, "Portal de la Paz"), punto de unión entre el sur de las Ramblas y el paseo de Colón, frente al puerto de Barcelona (Wikipedia).
