La Albufera, Valencia. Este día no tuve la suerte de contemplar esas bellas puestas de Sol llenas de color, pero el cielo cubierto de nubes me permitió descubrir la belleza de los tonos grises y la calma que ser respira y se siente en este hermoso lugar.

Digitalis purpurea, cuyos nombres comunes son dedalera, digital, cartucho, calzones de zorra, chupamieles, guante de Nuestra Señora, San Juan, bilicroques, guantelete o viluria, es una especie de planta herbácea bienal de la familia de las escrofulariáceas.

Sus hojas contienen una poderosa toxina, la digitalina, que afecta el funcionamiento cardíaco. Extremadamente venenosas si se consumen, el extracto del principio activo ha sido empleado como medicación para la arritmia y otras deficiencias cardíacas desde finales del siglo XVIII.

Purple Digitalis, whose common names are foxglove, foxglove, cassette, trousers of fox, humming-birds, glove of Our Lady, San Juan, bilicroques, gauntlet or viluria, is a species of herbaceous biennial plant of the family of the escrofulariáceas.

En la imagen se observan aperos de pesca, aunque hoy en día, como consecuencia de la excesiva explotación y contaminación de las aguas, la actividad pesquera únicamente se mantiene gracias a la liza. Las otras dos especies, anguila y lubina han ido desapareciendo progresivamente.

In the image equipment of fishing is observed, though nowadays, like consequence of the excessive exploitation and pollution of the waters, the fishing activity only is kept thanks to the mugil. Other two species, eel and sea bass have been disappearing progressively.

Posiblemente sea uno de los monumentos de Madrid más fotografiados y no es de extrañar. El Templo de Debod está situado en uno de los parajes más bellos de la ciudad de Madrid, junto al parque del Oeste. Al atardecer son muchas las personas que se acercan al mirador de su jardín para contemplar bellas puestas de Sol.

Fue un placer compartir ese momento con mis compañeros y amigos del grupo de fotografia, a los que quiero agreder sus consejos sobre fotografía nocturna. (Fran, Luismi y Juan, también a Fernando del grupo Digital).

Possibly it is one of the monuments of Madrid more photographed and it is not of surprising. Debod's Temple is placed in one of the most beautiful places of the city of Madrid, close to the park of the West. At dusk there are many people who come to the viewpoint of his garden to contemplate beautiful sunsets.

En esta época del año los arrozales están cubiertos de agua para evitar que salgan malas hierbas. En algunos lugares el agua ocupa grandes extensiones lo que nos permite contemplar unos atardeceres espectaculares al reflejarse el Sol, las nubes y los elementos que conforman tan sigular enclave, en sus tranquilas aguas.

In this epoch of the year the rice-fields are covered of water to prevent bad grasses from going out. In some places the water occupies big extensions what allows us to contemplate a few spectacular late afternoons on there having be reflected the Sun, the clouds and the elements that shape so sigular enclave.
