Il trichodes alvearius è un piccolo coleottero dalla doppia vita. Allo stadio larvale vive nelle arnie delle api nutrendosi delle loro pupe, mentre da adulto vive sui fiori predando piccoli insetti.
The trichodes alvearius is a small beetle which has a double life. At the larval stage lives in the hives of bees feeding their chicks, while living as an adult preying on small insects on the flowers.
