      Peonies are just so gorgeous. I had never seen or had real ones ever until this year when I saw them at Whole Foods and bought a bunch (they are, of course, preserved in photos!). They don't grow where I live so it was such a treat to have them and smell their delicate fragrance. I went back to the store a few days later to get another bunch but, alas, they were no more. Hope to have them again one day. Meanwhile, I can enjoy them in beautiful photos such as yours.

      i love peonies. i have dark red and white ones in my garden. i'd love to have pink ones. they're just so sweet.
