How do you compose a new message?

If I touch right here, it works.

Touching Menu merely provides you with the folder/label list. Scrolling to the bottom also doesn't reveal a Compose New Message button ... I discovered that if you touch the right-side of the light-blue bar (where "Inbox" is), it will bring you to the Compose New Message page. It seems as though the icon just isn't loading.

I don't know why, but on mine, there's a compose button on the right end of that bar. Yours is apparently not rendering properly.
