Baden, Switzerland - 28th October, 2011

When I was a kid I thought every house in Switzerland had windowboxes. It must be said I also thought Heidi was a real person and that economists actually knew about economics. (shows how young and out of touch with reality I was) :)

Anyway, this really quite lovely collection of windowboxes appeared to me as I turned a corner in the town (city?) of Baden in North-eastern Switzerland.

The side of a very old house where grapes were growing. St. Gallen is known for its beautiful cathedral but the streets teem with little finds like this.

Another Swiss town and what a town! Everywhere you look there's something just a little different to other towns. We spent quite a few hours wandering.
