      I love your shots of Norse antiquities and don't know I missed this! I was doing research on the Visby lens and noted that the photo was credited to you :)

      Did the museum say anything about the globe's magnifying properties?

      if i remember it well, the museum did not write anything about the magnifying properties. i think it is more applicable to the crystal pieces of the necklace though, since this crystal ball looks like a sphere.
      i didn't know about this and am interested in your research. please write me if you know any good articles with more information :)
