Another contribution to the group MACROMONDAY.
Every week they choose a theme, and this week is DIPTYCH.
Beyond the subject, I am particularly pleased with how I was able to manage light. A flash illuminates both photos from the top through a diy diffuser and a second flash warms up the scenes through a full CTO orange gel.

Ecco un altro contributo al gruppo MACROMONDAY.
Ogni settimana scelgono un tema per la macrofotografia e penso che sia un'ottima idea per fare pratica.
Questa settimana il tema è DIPTYCH.
Ho accostato due foto macro che si richiamano per affinità.
Al di là del soggetto, sono particolarmente contento di come sono riuscito a gestire la luce. Un flash illumina entrambe le foto dall'alto attraverso un diffusore ed un secondo flash riscalda le scene attraverso un gel arancione FULL CTO.

I've edited, cropped, saturated, applyed contrast masks , corrected distortion , straightened, vignetted, cleaned and watermarked each one of them.
Time spent taking them 20 minutes (+ trip + chat).
Time spent on the computer: about 2 hours.
Was it all worth it? I keep idea that it is better to spend time behind the camera rather than behind the keyboard.
My humble opinion, for heaven's sake.

- after 15 minutes of shooting, each one chooses his three best shots.

Tempo impiegato a scattarle 20 minuti circa (+ il viaggio + la chiaccherata).
Tempo passato al computer: 2 ore circa.
Tempo ben speso? Resto fermo sulla mia idea che sia meglio passare il tempo dietro alla macchina fotografica piuttosto che dietro alla tastiera.
Opinione personale, per carità.

REGOLE
Due fotografi e tre semplici regole:
- si sceglie il luogo e l'ora
- si scelgono le armi (macchina e obiettivo)
- dopo 15 minuti di scatti, ognuno mette sul tavolo le proprie tre foto migliori.
