Oh, for me the answers are so clear... it's weird.

First one - It's better to find the thing you want to do most. It might me one thing like drawing, it might be something bigger like communicating, or just living. And it doesn't matter what you're good or okay at, you should pick the one you want the most. (Even if you suck at it, because you'll definitely get better. And even if there's something else you're really good at, because it's not about choosing the best opportunity, it's about what you want.)

And the second - It's better to let things happen, if you trust that they will happen. But if this sound's awkward to you, then you should go with making them happen. Oh, and of course it's about the things you want to happen, (so not about the things that would happen otherwise).

Being someone who is good at many things and great at none, it's an easy question...

For God sake, pick one thing and be awesome at it - your career will thank you.

They're both hard questions for me too. The first one I struggle with because I am more like the first option ( okay at a lot of things) but wish I could be the second option. But that's just not who I am, I don't think. And it makes life harder, because if you're really good at one thing it's easier to make it productive and profitable.
As for the second one, I have a tendency toward passivity, which in some ways is good, but a lot of times nothing happens that way. The problem with trying to make things happen is it's discouraging. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I guess you just have to keep trying anyway.

I like the idea of being good at most things, always striving to be better at everything, but being okay with the fact that I'll probably never be the best at any one thing.
