just another fairytale hike in the pacific northwest

    Newer Older

Michael was kind enough to pose in the distance during our hike up Silver Star not terribly long ago (though it feels like it was terribly long ago)... I need to go find more wildflowers, and soon.

Image made with my Nikon F100.

so stunning. the person adds a great element - draws the eye right to the silhouette.

I know photography is really subjective...and your pictures, and yours especially, are really little pieces of "you"...your thoughts, your feelings...emotions....

I think you know by now that i really appreciate your body of work...but just for once...let me be the devil's advocate....

I think i would have made him the center of interest of the composition....this way....being blurred...i think he gets lost in the background, and the picture looses something....

This is obviously just my thought.....hope you don't mind i've written it... ;)

No, I don't mind at all, and appreciate the feedback!

I actually kind of agree with Cristian. It's a beautiful shot, with a story to it, but i think it would've been a bit stronger when the person was a bit closer to the camera, making him less a part of the background.

I agree, it does feel like it was terribly long ago. We should go exploring again soon.

      (And, I love this image.)

Your picture reminds of a famous painting (man standing on peak under low and heavy clouds).
